Our understanding of the unique needs of various participants in the Croatian financial and capital market allows us to provide solutions designed to help our clients reach their business goals in the financial industry and to address the challenges and opportunities they encounter during the process of harmonization of Croatian financial markets with EU law. Our team continuously monitors novelties in the leasing, insurance, and capital markets areas.

We do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach in the regulatory field of Croatian financial services due to an overlap between three regulators (Central Bank, Financial Services Supervisory Agency, and Ministry of Finance).

The financial services industry includes regulatory matters, M&A, loan financing, acquisition financing, project financing, real estate financing, restructuring and insolvency, products and export financing, and local tax (VAT) issues in project financing.

Our team of lawyers provides legal advice on variety of financial matters in the banking, investment funds, leasing, and insurance industries – on the regulatory field as well as during the execution of transactions. We represent our clients who are lenders or borrowers/guarantors at all stages of a financial transaction, and we act as local or lead counsel, from negotiation and execution of security documents to signing and closing LMA-standard facility agreements adjusted to Croatian law.
